GDPR

What is GDPR?

The GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) is a piece of legislation that is designed to strengthen and unify data protection laws for all individuals within the European Union.

For that reason, GDPR applies to any organization in the European Union that is processing personal data, as well as any organization that processes the personal data of EU data subjects, regardless of whether the organization has a presence in the European Union.

How ConvertBox helps you comply with GDPR?

We’ve developed features inside ConvertBox specifically designed to make it easier to for you to ensure your forms comply with rules set in GDPR.

In some cases you may need to get consent from visitors when they subscribe to your newsletter. In these cases using ConvertBox you can easily add one or more granular consent checkboxes inside your forms and choose whether they are required or not.

When the visitor submits your form and selects the consent checkbox we pass this field to your email service provider with the value as “True” so you know consent has been given and you can run automations accordingly.

Data processing agreement (DPA)

ConvertBox has a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) that provides contractual terms to meet GDPR requirements and clarify our data privacy and security commitments to our customers.

You can view and download our DPA here.
